On our make your own wedding ring workshops we make all of our wedding rings using a process of hand fabrication.   This means we start with a strip of metal roughly the right shape and width to the band you want to make. We will then use a variety of hand tools to form the metal round into a ring shape, cutting it to size, making sure the ends meet and then soldering them together to create a complete band at this point your rings will really start to take shape!

We will then do lots of filling and refining before polishing or applying your chosen surface finish. You can decide on the finish you want to apply to your wedding rings on the day and we have lots of examples for you to have a look at first.

After your workshop we will polish the insides of your wedding bands and get them hallmarked for you at the Birmingham Assay Office.
