About Victoria

Victoria set up the workshop in the heart of the jewellery Quarter Birmingham wanting to create a beautiful space for couples to come and create their wedding rings in an authentic silversmithing and goldsmithing studio.

The studio is full of her own precious tools acquired over  the years and some inherited from her grandfather.

She has had a passion for making from an early age which led her to undertake a degree in designed metal work and silversmithing followed by 5 years working as a jeweller and silversmith making work to commission and also working for well known established designer makers  building up a wealth of technical knowledge before undertaking a Masters in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art in London.

Her career has also involved  teaching at various colleges, for museums and galleries.

She now lives with her husband in Birmingham and yes they made each others wedding rings at  the Quarterworkshop!

Her wedding was featured on "Love my Dress" and you can see it here:

Of all the artisans and creative people we encountered while preparing for our wedding, Victoria was by far the most patient, understanding and inventive. Taking our raw ideas, she crafted them into objects to treasure for a lifetime together. Her continual explanation of the jewellery-making process as the design progressed gave the commission a personal and hand-made quality that is totally unique.
