About Us
Welcome to The Quarterworkshop – a place where creativity, craftsmanship, and meaningful moments come to life. Tucked inside a beautifully restored Victorian factory in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, our workshop is filled with history, charm, and the perfect space for unforgettable jewellery-making experiences.
Since 2014, we’ve been helping people create more than just jewellery – we help craft memories. Whether it’s a pair of wedding rings, a thoughtful gift, or something just for you, every piece tells a story.
The Joy of Crafting
In our fast-paced world, jewellery-making is a chance to pause and reconnect. It’s more than learning techniques – it’s a mindful escape, a moment to unplug, and an experience that brings calm and creativity.
Jewellery With Meaning
We believe jewellery is more than an accessory – it’s a reflection of love, memories, and self-expression. Guided by expert jewellers, you’ll create pieces that hold personal meaning and will last a lifetime.
Everyone is a Maker
No matter your skill level, we’ll guide you in designing and crafting something truly unique. Creating with your own hands is a joyful experience, and our workshops are as much about the journey as the finished piece.
Our Mission
To inspire meaningful, hands-on jewellery-making experiences.
To offer a space for creativity, connection, and craftsmanship.
To help you slow down, create, and cherish the beauty of the moment.
Whether you're crafting wedding rings, a heartfelt gift, or exploring a new hobby, The Quarterworkshop is here to help you every step of the way.
Come create something truly special with us!
Meet the Team
-
Victoria
Victoria founded the workshop in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter to give couples a unique and personal experience—creating their own wedding rings in an authentic silversmithing and goldsmithing studio. The workshop is filled with her treasured collection of tools, some gathered over the years and others inherited from her grandfather.
Her passion for making began early, leading her to pursue a degree in Designed Metalwork and Silversmithing. This was followed by five years as a jeweller and silversmith, creating custom commissions and working with renowned designer-makers. During this time, she honed her technical skills and built a strong foundation in the craft. Victoria then completed a Master’s in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork, and Jewellery at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London.
In addition to her work as a jeweller, Victoria has taught at various colleges, museums, and galleries, sharing her wealth of knowledge with aspiring makers. Now settled in Birmingham with her husband, she cherishes the memory of crafting each other's wedding rings in the very workshop she created.

Dovile
Originally from Lithuania, Dovile is a jewellery artist specializing in sculptural jewellery. Her work has been showcased at contemporary crafts and arts shows both across the UK and internationally. Alongside her role at the workshop, Dovile is also an artist-in-residence at the Birmingham City University (BCU) School of Jewellery, where she continues to explore her craft and push creative boundaries.
Dovile feels inspired working in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, a place deeply rooted in the tradition of jewellery making. When she’s not in the studio, she finds peace and inspiration in nature—whether walking through deep forests, hiking in the mountains, or relaxing by running water.
