Step into our warm, light-filled silversmithing studio and prepare for a day unlike any other. Under the expert guidance of our passionate jewellers, you’ll craft unique wedding bands that hold a deeper significance because they’re made by your own hands. From design to the final polish, you’ll be supported through every step, including:

  • Designing your rings to fit your style.

  • Shaping and hammering the metal into form.

  • Soldering and finishing your bespoke creations.

We’ll also handle hallmarking and any extra touches like engraving or polishing to ensure your rings are absolutely perfect.

Workshop fee: £550 per couple, plus materials, which we’ll discuss during booking to ensure everything is tailored to you.

The Process of Making Your Wedding Rings

Our "make your own wedding ring" workshops offer you the chance to create something truly special—wedding bands crafted by your own hands using traditional techniques. You’ll begin with a strip of metal, carefully measured and shaped to match your desired band size. Guided by expert instruction, you’ll use hand tools to bend, cut, and shape the metal, ensuring a seamless join before soldering it to form a complete ring. This is where your rings start to take shape.

Once the bands are formed, the refining process begins. You’ll file, smooth, and perfect your rings, preparing them for the finishing touches. On the day of your workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a variety of surface finishes, with samples available to help you choose the look that speaks to you.

After the workshop, we’ll handle the final steps—polishing the inside of your rings and sending them to the Birmingham Assay Office for hallmarking. The result? Beautiful, custom-made wedding bands that are not only a symbol of your love but also a testament to the time and care you put into making them together.
